A hog lagoon is a site of excess, one of many foul outcomes of unchecked human consumption. “Any object can become a terrarium / If nature is allowed to take over / Just as anything can be fermented / And consume the tastes / Of a born consumer.” The poems in HOG LAGOON would turn the office, the mall, the apartment, the park, and the gallery into terraria if they could.
